We thank God that, little by little, changes are taking place at the government level. For decades the government has believed that orphanages are the best places for children with no parents to care for them. Christians in the former Soviet Union have been praying diligently for a change in this position. Ukrainian churches focused these prayers on November 3, 2011, the all-Ukraine day of prayer for orphan children. After this special day of united prayer, one government official completely changed his attitude. In the Dnepropetrovsk region, Christians are praising God that a pilot project was launched to distribute all children living in orphanages among families in the area! Let's praise God with them for what He is doing.
