In November 2010, 500 Christians (many of whom have either already adopted or are considering adoption) met in Kiev at a three-day conference to launch the Alliance for a Ukraine Without Orphans (UWO). This Alliance has the vision that, by the year 2015, Ukraine could be the first country without orphans. Given the ever-expanding network of advocates and the prayer-bathed initiatives that are going forward, this vision is achievable. Pray that as many Ukrainian and international organizations work together, this dream might become a reality.
